Who and what
About Laptop Services
A self-help website for two everyday laptop questions: how worn is my battery, and will this charger or power bank do the job?
It has three parts: a Battery Report Reader for the reports Windows, macOS and Linux already make, a Charger and Power Desk, and a private Laptop Card to keep dated readings.
What it is not
- Not a repair shop. It does no repairs, sells no batteries or parts and has no technicians or support staff.
- Not a remote tool. It never connects to your computer; you make the report yourself and choose what to open.
- Not the maker's word. Results are general guidance from your numbers. Your laptop's maker and manual decide what your laptop supports.
- Not connected to Microsoft, Apple, any laptop maker or the FAA.
Who runs it
Laptop Services is made and run by WeldonPC.com, an IT company in Ohio. The rules it uses are listed with their sources on Sources.
