Privacy
- Battery reports: a report you open or paste on the reader is read by your own browser and is never uploaded. Windows reports carry your computer's name and battery serial numbers; none of that leaves the page.
- Results: pressing Show result sends only the numbers in the form (capacities, cycle count, watts). They are used to make the page and are not saved, unless you press Save to Laptop Card. Result pages are marked not to be cached.
- Laptop Card: holds what you put on it (laptop nicknames, rated cycles, charger watts, dated readings). It is opened by a private key kept in a cookie and in your card link; the site stores only a scrambled form of that key. Delete the card at any time from its page.
- Limits: to stop abuse, the site counts results and new cards per day against a scrambled form of your internet address. Those counts are deleted within 4 days.
- No accounts, no email, no ads, no tracking scripts. The web server keeps standard access logs (address, page, time) for security, as every web host does.
